How to set up a Shopify store?
For any Shopify newbie, the first step of starting an online shop would be to try out Shopify’s free trial. This will give you time to understand the ins and outs of the system.
To start your free trial, you’ll need to register on Shopify, enter a shop name (which will appear in your URL) and fill out some business basics (shop and product information, main idea, add pictures and logos).
Next, you’ll need to add products or services that you will be selling in your shop. In your account, you’ll need to select Products > Add products and proceed with the given instructions.
And of course, next to all the vital product info, don’t forget to put a price tag on your sold goods!
How to apply crypto payment options?
Shopify is a relatively easy interface to use. Most settings and modifications can be quickly accessed and changed on your Shopify account. Once you are ready to add crypto payment methods to your Shopify store, proceed to your Shopify Admin page, go to Settings > Payments > Alternative Payments and click on Choose Alternative Payments. Select your chosen alternative provider (Shopify is said to accept over 300+ digital currencies), enter the needed credentials and click Activate.
Congrats! Now your shopper can pay you in crypto!
Unfortunately, while Shopify provides you with the possibility to receive payments from users in crypto. Shopify itself does not accept crypto payments from merchants for Shopify services. Maybe this will change in the future.
